Regeneration of Leopold
The extensive consultation with Local residents carried out by LART and Poplar HARCA showed that the main concerns of local residents was security and the environment - they wanted a safe and attractive living conditions - which is the aim of the Leopold Regeneration.
The main feature of the regeneration of the Red Block - is the block seperation which will involve making the Red Blocks stand alone blocks removing the interconnecting landings - vastly improving block security.
The green areas in the Area will be preserved but with them being made secure green areas - so Leopold Residents can safely enjoy these areas.

The Regeneration of The Leopold Area
The Red Blocks and Elmslie Point of the Leopold Area will be extensively refurbished as part of the Regeneration. This will include state of the Art Security methods and secure by design Environment.
The aim will be to meet the many challenges the area has whilst providing first rate living conditions.
