WELCOME TO THE LEOPOLD AREA HISTORY WEBSITE
Our part of East London has changed in Two Centuries from being a Marshy Farmland to an area servicing the largest Docks in the World, to being on the front line of the Battle of Britain to as it is now a part of a vibrant and exciting development area, which was part of resident led initiative and the subject of many battles for backing from authorities and raising the necessary finance.
The aim of these History Pages is to record the history and also to encourage past and present Leopold Residents - to record their memories about living in our area.
